I offer counselling/therapy sessions in English and Gujarati.

I ensure that I work according to my client’s individual needs and where necessary combine my experience which I have gained at various agencies with my Person Centred approach.

My counselling skills reflect my personality which is sensitive and caring. Working with my clients in a respectful way helps them to share their problems without any fear of being judged.

Working with adults, couples and young people

I am currently working within an Education setting with students and  young people over the age of 16 and over who have experienced abuse, depression, anxiety, OCD, ADHD, mental health difficulties, poverty and more....

I have gained an in-depth understanding of the pressure clients feel balancing work and personal life whilst working for local government. I am also aware of the stress young adults undergo due to their cultural background.

I successfully facilitated and offered counselling support to a group at the WISH centre. As a counsellor/therapist, my role was to help mothers and their children to live their lives independently after leaving abusive relationship. This gave me a lot of experience in working with families and families who suffered from domestic abuse. This in turn inspired me to do my research paper on domestic abuse and the impact it has on our children. You can either email at Kantacounselling@yahoo.co.uk or call me on 07561 368 389
